Hollys Chunky Choc Brownie

I have a massive sweet tooth when it comes to baking so I decided I wanted to make a delicious brownie to share with the family and keep my chocolate cravings satisfied.

Ingredients

250g butter
-
1 & ½ cup white sugar

1 cup plain flour

½ cup cocoa powder
-
4 free-range eggs
-
1 tsp vanilla essence
-
1 tsp baking powder

125g (half a block) Whittaker’s creamy milk chocolate
Method

Preheat the oven to 180.

Grab a baking tray and grease as preferred & line with baking paper.

Pop butter into a saucepan over a medium heat until melted.

Take butter off heat then add sugar and whisk.

Add in vanilla essence and crack in eggs, then whisk until combined!

Put baking powder, flour & cocoa powder into sieve and sift over mixture.

Mix and fold until mixture is a thick, smooth consistency.

Pour mixture into baking tray evenly.

Then grab your Whittaker's chocolate and roughly chop into small chunks, sprinkle over mixture in baking tray.

Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes then test with a skewer.

It will be ready when the skewer shows only a little bit of mixture, and springs back when touched lightly.

Take out of oven and let it cool. Slice into preferred serving sizes & Voila!
Best served warm with ice cream.
